Our Team

General Manager

Our General Manager brings an impressive 26 years of experience in the aviation industry to our team. He is a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with both M1 and M2 certifications, and holds endorsements on the Beechjet 400, Gulfstream II/III, Gulfstream V, and Embraer 135/145. His diverse background includes five years as an Interior Completions Manager and another five years as a Project Lead/Manager. In addition, he has accumulated three years of combined experience as a Production Manager and Chief Inspector.

His passion for teaching led him to spend the last five years as a professor at the Norton Wolf School of Aerospace at Fanshawe College. Recently, he accepted the challenge of leading our company in Huron Park, Ontario, Canada, where his extensive expertise and leadership skills will undoubtedly drive our continued success.

Sales Manager

Derek Campbell brings over 20 years of aviation experience to our team. He began his career in the interior refurbishment department at NUGI, where he gained the knowledge and skills necessary to grow within the company. Derek was promoted to Program Manager, and his exceptional performance quickly led to his current role as Sales Manager.

As Sales Manager, Derek is responsible for client relations, ensuring that all customers receive fair and exceptional treatment in a timely manner. His extensive experience and dedication make him the ideal person to assist you in finding the best solutions for your aircraft needs. Engineering Manager

Garry works with NUGI for 18 years and he’s an expert in VIP conversions. He holds a Tool and Die Certificate which started his journey running the CNC machines. He continues to run them as well as Lead any modification projects whether it be a full VIP conversion or a small floor plan change.

Garry have spent time in the maintenance, cabinet, upholstery and project manager positions and just recently moved into the engineering.

Quality Assurance Manager

Michelle has 16 years of experience in Aviation Quality Assurance and has been NUGI’s Quality Assurance Manager since the company’s inception in 2012. She has successfully completed the Transport Canada Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) requirements, making her both Transport Canada approved as our Quality Assurance Manager and qualified to serve as our Interim PRM when needed.

Michelle’s expertise and dedication ensure that NUGI consistently meets the highest standards of quality and compliance in the aviation industry.

Chief Inspector

Since New United Goderich Inc’s start in 2012, Ryan has been an integral part of the team, taking on various roles including Project Leader and Shift Supervisor. In 2018, he became the Chief Inspector, where he has been instrumental in maintaining high inspection standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and identifying areas for improvement within the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).

Ryan is a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME-M2) and holds endorsements on the Embraer 135/145 and 170/190, as well as the Bombardier CRJ-100/200 and DeHavilland/Bombardier DHC-8-400. His extensive experience and commitment to excellence ensure the highest levels of safety and quality in our operations.

SMS Coordinator

Craig is NUGI’s expert in safety and management systems in accordance with Federal Regulations and requirements. With 17 years of experience in the aviation industry, he has dedicated 12 of those years to NUGI. Initially, Craig worked as an Interior Upholsterer/Technician, specializing in seat upholstery, panel upholstery, and the installation and removal of interior components, including carpet fitting and installation.

Since 2018, Craig has taken on the crucial role of overseeing our Safety Management System (SMS) department. His responsibilities include monitoring concerns within the civil aviation industry and ensuring that the company complies with all required Federal Health and Safety Regulations. Craig’s expertise and dedication to safety play a pivotal role in maintaining NUGI’s high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
